The Diary that contains stories about real first generation college students that share their struggle with mental health in college. The Diary — Mental Health go over issues such as imposter syndrome, family complications and not knowing where you fit in because of who you are. In The Diary - Success we discuss our accomplishments as first-generation college students in a magazine that is parallel to The Diary — Mental Health, where the same students discuss their mental health. We want to demonstrate that, with the correct support, first-generation college students aren’t constantly depressed and can actually enjoy their time in college. I took all photography and designed all pages. This project was selected for City Tech's COMD Senior Project Finalists of Fall 2022.
